Soliciting feedback from selected users to determine what types of revenue people would be interested in – some of the ideas that have been brought up include tip jars that would enable users to collect money for their content and the creation of a marketplace that would be used to find content sponsors.

It has been suggested that one of the reasons why Facebook is considering this big move is to allow its most valuable users to continue their best efforts on the platform, in particular users in which share live videos or other real-time content.
