Within the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) world duplicate content is one of the things that often gets brought up.  But is it something that we have to worry about? Matt Cutts, Google’s head of search spam said that it is not something that people should get stressed about, unless the duplicate content is of a spammy nature.

He is said if the duplicate content is not spammy or jam-packed full of keywords Google may just ignore it. Time and time again Google have said that duplicate content issues are rarely a penalty and that it is more about knowing which page’s should be ranked and which shouldn’t.
