Stonewoods are a prestigious supplier of fireplaces, stoves and flues and are a well respected player within the fireplace industry. When Stonewoods commissioned us to optimise the website, it was ranking on pages 4 and 5 of the search engine results pages (SERPs). We devised a strategy to push the Stonewoods site to the top of the results and discussed benchmarks for success.


Once we had agreed key project milestones, we kick started our campaign with a technical audit. This identified the main areas which required attention to remove any issues hindering better rankings. We worked incredibly hard to create a very strong linking structure and created a PR and blogging strategy to increase exposure and links to the site.

We closely monitored the site performance in the initial weeks of the campaign, making adjustments where necessary. By week 12 the site was in a rising position on page 1 of search engines and as such our focus of work is on maintaining the position.
